Analysts back MOL's 2030 strategy with petchem investment emphasis

LONDON (ICIS)--Hungary’s MOL is making the right move in shifting its investment emphasis from upstream acquisitions to incremental investments in petrochemicals and retail, an investment bank said on Monday. Reviewing the group’s newly board approved long-term strategy, MOL Group 2030 - Enter Tomorrow, Prague-based bank WOOD & Company backed the plan to spend around $1.5bn in each of three five-year periods on petrochemical and chemical investments.
