LONDON (ICIS)--How will integrated cracker operators with assets in the US fare over the next few years? The first big, new US crackers will come on-stream from 2017, most integrated to significant new polyethylene capacity. At least one industry analyst has warned of a “bloodbath” in the sector as players new to North America seek to export polymer away from an over-supplied market.
