LONDON (ICIS)--The Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals, in charge of petrochemicals expansion in the country, and Shell Chemicals have failed to set a target date to commence work on the proposed petrochemical complex in the southern oil hub of Basra, a ministry official said on Wednesday. "We don't have a set date. The subject is causing tension between us and Shell," Adil Kareem, Deputy Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ministry of Industry and Minerals, Federal Government of Iraq, said during a question and answer session at the 10th Iraq Petroleum Conference being held in London on 24-25 May.
