S Korea's Kumho P&B runs Yeosu phenol/acetone plants at 90%

MELBOURNE (ICIS)--South Korean producer Kumho P&B Chemicals is running its two phenol/acetone units at Yeosu at around 90% capacity, a company source said on Monday. Kumho's No 2 plant can produce 130,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 80,000 tonnes/year of acetone, while its No 3 plant can make 250,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 150,000 tonnes/year of acetone.
