DALLAS (ICIS)--The best option for INEOS to supply its gas crackers in Norway and Scotland is to import US ethane, a senior executive said on Tuesday. “If you’re looking at gas versus naphtha, the economics have come back into balance. But it’s not the issue with a gas cracker. We either buy locally or import from North America,” said Tom Crotty, director of INEOS.
