EU melamine anti-dumping duties against China review confirmed

LONDON (ICIS)--The European Commission has confirmed it is currently reviewing the anti-dumping duties against Chinese melamine producers, which are set to expire this week, according to the Commission on Wednesday. The European melamine market has been waiting for this announcement for months, with the current duties set to expire on 14 May. “The request was lodged on 10 February 2016 by Borealis Agrolinz Melamine GmbH, OCI Nitrogen BV and Grupa Azoty Zaklady Azotow Pulawy SA (‘the applicants’) on behalf of producers representing more than 25 % of the total Union production of melamine” the announcement said.
