AbstractImmune responsiveness to porcine lactic dehydrogenase in rats is linked to the H‐1 histocompatibility locus. Within 15 strains, 4 low‐responding strains were found, which were all homozygous for H‐1a. All other strains, including heterozygous animals carrying the H‐1aallele, were high responders.
