US Kinder Morgan may sell stakes in two projects

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US midstream and energy infrastructure major Kinder Morgan may sell part of two planned projects to private equity partners, the company confirmed in an investor presentation on its website on Thursday. The divestments of partial stakes in the $2bn Elba Island liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility in Georgia, US, and the $1.1bn Palmetto refined products pipeline in the southeast US, would come as Kinder Morgan seeks to cut capital spending amid the low energy prices.
