LONDON (ICIS)--Employees of industrial gases and chemical engineering major Linde in Germany will not have to worry about their jobs in the wake of a possible Linde- Praxair merger - at least not for the time being, German chemical labour union IG BCE said in an update on Friday. Munich-based Linde said this week it would resume talks with US industrial gases major Praxair about a merger, and it appointed a new CEO, a move that could raise the odds for the merger.
