Copper price at 8-year highs

Current LME 3M copper price of $8,000 /t is the highest level seen since February 2013. The ongoing recovery has been driven by the market's continued re-pricing of the risks to the global economic outlook. This has also been reflected in further weakening of the US dollar versus key producer currencies since copper's low in late March.
