Point Supreme renovated and vertically connected 2 independent apartments on successive levels to create a home for a family with 3 children. The 2 levels became opposite spatial experiences. A continuous, marine-like environment on the lower level uses large furniture to create an archipelago of functions for the family's communal activities. Instead of the typical room divisions of kitchen, dining, living, and playing, the communal areas are open and look toward each other with the custom-made furnishings as viewing devices. Cupboards, seats, stairs, shelves, and tables join different typologies of screens, interior partitions, curtains, and other visual filters that physically delineate while visually connecting.
