For a wireless sensor network WSN with mobile sink, we have so far considered various routings and sink trajectories. Originally, that model comes from a simple WSN model and goes to other generalized models such as wireless rechargeable sensor network. In this report, we mainly deal with two routings on a WSN model. One is a layer routing, which is shown superior to the other, which is the shortest path-based routing. However, the latter is not presented in detail. Thus, at first in the report, we propose the shortest path-based routing, while pointing out some issues. Next, we implement those routings and compare their performance. As a result, our proposal is shown superior to the layer routing in terms of lifetime as well as throughput. Finally, we compare them with some familiar routing protocols such as LEACH, PEGASIS and so on. It turns out that our proposal is superior except one case. These results are expected to improve routings on related generalized WSN models.
