The influence of the chemical composition of cold-rolled low-carbon microalloyed steels processed in continuous-annealing units (CAU) and the parameters of thermal deformation processing on their corrosion resistance was studied. It is shown that an increase in the content of chromium, nickel, copper, and aluminum, even in small concentrations, has a beneficial effect on the corrosion resistance of steel. Of the hot-rolling parameters, the finishing temperature of rolling and the temperature of reeling had the strongest effect on the corrosion resistance of steels. During CAU heat treatment, significant factors affecting the corrosion resistance of rolled products are the speed of the strip and the heating and holding temperatures P3, P4, and P5. The corrosion rate decreases with increase in the strip speed and increases with increase in P3, P4, and P5.
