Oil futures ended little changed on Tuesday amid the ongoing focus on the war between Israel and Hamas. In London, Brent crude for December loading rose by 15¢ to settle at $89.90 per barrel, while in New York, November West Texas Intermediate on Nymex closed at $86.66/bbl, unchanged from the previous settlement. Trading was similarly muted in refined products futures, with November Nymex gasoline closing up 1.15¢ at $2.2845 per gallon and the heating oil contract - a proxy for diesel - settling 2.75¢ higher at $3.1767/gallon.
