Since the end of last year, four French Air and Space Force Rafales have been deployed in Lithuania as part of the Enhanced Air Policing mission. On a cold day in northern Lithuania, 'Burguy', a Rafale pilot and a Captain from the 30eme Escadre de Chasse (30th Fighter Wing), was being interviewed for a French television network. Inside the 'studio', a bungalow housing the detachment commander's office at Siauliai Air Base, the atmosphere was relaxed. Outside, the thermometer stood at-15℃ and the landscape was uniformly white, the result of the snowfall of the past few days.
