An unregistered MCV-bodied Volvo BZL battery-electric single-deck demonstrator was inspected at Milewater service centre in Belfast and at the city's Europa Buscentre on May 6. Volvo B8RLE/Sunsundegui Sb3 C45F low-entry coach 1798 (XUI 9798) took up duty at Coleraine on April 28. The last three Volvo B11R/Sunsundegui SC5 C51 FL coaches, 1289-91 (XUI 9789-91), were delivered in April and, after a period of fault-free running, were expected to be allocated to Newry. B40F-seated Wright GB Hawk service buses licensed during April and May included 2553-68 (GXI 423, YUI 554, BYZ 3255, GXI 426, YUI 3757, GXI 458, BYZ 3559, YUI 3760-4/55/66-8); 2553-6 were delivered to Coleraine between May 5 and 11. Volvo B5TL/Wright Gemini 3 2120-3 (FGZ 3120-3) have been cascaded from Metro and were repainted in two-tone blue with white stripes in April/May before allocation to the Milewater sub-depot of Great Victoria Street In April, Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 2479 (FXI 399, KEZ 7479) received a dark blue/ black allover advertisement (front in fleet livery) for Our Place in Space, a 6mile space-themed art installation placed, initially, along the banks of the river Foyle in Derry~Londonderry, but to move over the coming months to Belfast, Cambridqe and North Down.
