Approximately 200 scientists from academia and industry attended the Seventh Annual G-Protein-Coupled Receptors In Drug Discovery conference organized by Informa. A balanced mixture of the most relevant and recent topics in the field was presented, including 3D structures of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and discussions of the merits of orthosteric versus allosteric ligands and ligand-biased signaling.
