In the new era of high energy costs and pressure to decarbonise, refrigeration users require solutions that meet fairly challenging requirements. Cooling technology has to minimise initial capital cost while operating efficiently in order to reduce running costs and carbon emissions over its working life. It must also be reliable, easy to install and maintain, and - crucially -operate on refrigerant that minimises environmental impact. This is the challenging brief behind the design of Bitter's new Ecolite 2.0 air-cooled condenser, which was crowned Refrigeration Product of the Year 2023 in the recent ACR News Awards.
