Conventional thinking has previously only considered expensive, exotic materials such as stainless steel or hastalloy for piping systems. Resistoflex lined steel piping systems from Crane Australia is another alternative, which provides the user with considerable cost savings. The Resistoflex system is made up of spools, connecting fittings and ancillary components like expansion joints, dip pipes and hoses. Able to take abrasive and chemically aggressive fluids at high working temperatures, these piping systems are lined with either Teflon PTFE (Polyte-trafluroethyline), Polypropylene, or Kynar PVDF (Polyvmylidene Fluoride) polymers.
