The Midcontinent Independent System Operator will delayits capacity auction so it can respond to a US Federal EnergyRegulatory Commission order raising concerns about the gridoperator’s capacity calculations, MISO officials said March 21.“Based on FERC’s order, MISO will delay the start of theauction for a few weeks to allow us to conduct the necessaryrecalculations and provide stakeholders with sufficient time tounderstand these changes,” Brandon Morris, a spokesperson forMISO, said in an email. MISO will provide stakeholders additionalclarity this week, he said.
