This article draws on Philip Leahy's Circuits 1934-1940 Book 11,Astor/Bre-ville Circuits and its Supplement,published by the Historical Radio Society of Australia(HRSA).Philip,assisted by Jim Easson,has collected comprehensive circuits and technical notes for very many radios made and sold in Australia,and the Astor/Breville book has proven invaluable in writing this article.Refer to Philip's book for complete descriptions,circuit diagrams,circuit voltages and sensitivity/performance figures.
