REVIEW OF DEVELOPMENTS IN THE WORLD COCOA SITUATION: PRODUCTION, GRINDINGS AND STOCKS FOR 2006/07 AND 2007/08

The estimates contained in this issue of the Quarterly Bulletin of Cocoa Statistics reflect the most recent mforaiation available to the Secretariat of the International Cocoa Organization as at the beginning of November 2008. The revised global crop,grindings and stocks data for the 2006/07 and 2007/08 cocoa years are summarized in Table 1. World and regional totals and the most significant changes in country production and grindings figures for 2007/08 compared with the previous year are contained in Tables 2 and 3. Information on cocoa production and grindings in individual countries over the past five cocoa seasons is presented in Tables 4 and 5 respectively.
