Simotion and Sinamics used to control Glass Machines: Clear Advantages for Complex Requirements

The glass industry is increasingly replacing application-specific control engineering with mechatronic solutions that increase productivity. The Czech company Sklostroj Turnov CZ c.r.o. has recently introduced the Simotion and Sinamics automation and drive platforms on its IS machines. Thanks to its real time capability and scalability, the system is ideal for controlling complex multi-axis machines in container glass production.
