Puratos has announced the appointment of Pierre Tossut as CEO, and Cedric Van Belle as chairman of the board, both effective January 1, 2022. Tossut has been with the company for 26 years in various capacities within RD, marketing, product management and sales. He will succeed Daniel Malcorps, who has led the company for 20 years. Van Belle was first appointed to the board in 2016. He has been managing the company's network of Choco-Story chocolate museums since 2003. He will succeed outgoing board chairman, Eddy Van Belle. Puratos group provides ingredients and services for bakery, patisserie and chocolate markets serving artisanal, industrial, retail and foodservice. The company is based in Brussels, Belgium, with operations worldwide.
