Margaret ‘discovered’ the Blue Mountains on school holidays from Newcastle. After moving to the area she and husband Mark joined the Blue Mountains Group of the SGAP in the late 1970s. She has been a TAFE Head Teacher of Environmental Sciences and a co-author of books on native plants. In her ‘retirement’ Margaret wrangles a group of rowdy native plant identifiers who supply information to the NSW Herbarium, BioNet and INaturalist.
