In this article, DIAA member Emeritus Professor Hilton Deeth talks about co-precipitates, which are concentrates of milk proteins, casein and whey proteins, how they are formed and their similarities and differences. Co-precipitates are concentrates of all milk proteins, casein and whey proteins. In this regard, they are similar to milk protein concentrates (MPCs). However, they differ considerably in the way they are produced.
