Mondelez International has announced the appointment of Karla Schlieper as president, Mondelez Canada, effective January 17. She succeeds Martin Parent who recently left the organization. Previously, Schlieper led the company's operation in the Latin America Southern Cone region of Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay since May 2019. She joined Mondelez in 2013, and has held a variety of management positions within the company. "We are excited to welcome Karla to the North America region, and to our Canadian business, as we focus on driving our growth ambition and snacking leadership in Canada," said Glen Walter, executive vice president and president, North America at the company.
