ZEBALLOS GOLD CAMP, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Many areas on Vancouver Island, concealed by brush, soil, and glacial gravels, contain quartz veins with good gold values. Placer gold can be found in many of the creeks and rivers on the island. Interested parties should contact the British Columbia Ministry of Energy and Mines in the provincial capital of Victoria for maps and further information. Some areas are closed, so the prospector must be certain that he is not trespassing. The accompanying map shows most of the known gold localities, some of which have not been mined.
