Oil prices crested three-year highs, before easing amid concerns over a slowing economic recovery curtailed by Covid-19 and record-high gas prices. Atlantic basin marker North Sea Dated climbed by 37c/bl to $83.68/bl in the week to 21 October, having broken through $85/bl the previous day for the frst time since October 2018. US marker November WTI was up by $1.98/bl at $83.29/bl, while Mideast Gulf benchmark December Dubai rose by 34c/bl to $81.74/bl.
