Pulp and paper industry's diverse organics stream.

This paper discusses the options such as application to land, composting and other beneficial uses for recycling pulp and paper industry by-products in USA. The most accessible fibre streams and the most amenable for composting are waste water treatment residuals (sludges), wood ash, and post consumer paper and paper products. They have proven to be good source of carbon, organic matter and nutrients.
