Gas-Kinetic Properties of Coal Beds: New Methods and Analysis

摘要

A new approach to coal as a coal-methane system is considered; the sorptional properties of this system differ from those of coal artificially saturated with gas. The gas-kinetic properties of coal samples taken in a mine working by a new method are studied. The rates of gas emission from gas-bearing and gas-saturated coal are determined in experiments in a mine and in the laboratory, on special equipment.
