Freeport LNG wants permission to introduce LNG into a pipingsystem at the facility as “its initial step to resuming normaloperations at the export facility,” it said in a US Federal EnergyRegulatory Commission filing that seemed to acknowledge that itwill not be able to resume production until February, at the earliest. The operator, in a Jan. 23 filing that also sought approval toreinstate the management of boil-off gas, asked FERC to approvethe request by Jan. 24. The request did not go as far as to ask theregulator to return liquefaction trains to operation, which wouldcome in a separate request.
