ADR emission standard update

Severe droughts are affecting parts of every continent. Around the Earth, some 70% of land used for agriculture is under threat of being turned into a desert. Across Australia, water authorities have introduced permanent water restrictions. These problems can all be linked to the global climate change that is now affecting us all in various ways. The automotive industry contributes to this climate change. It is estimated that the 800 million vehicles worldwide are emitting billions of tonnes of Carbon Dioxide into the atmosphere each year. As part of the Commonwealth Government's strategy to continually reduce vehicle emissions, two new Australian Design Rules (ADRs) have been adopted for implementation.
