Corteva plans Canadian debut of Vorceed Enlist corn

Corteva Agriscience is planning to introduce its genetically modified insect-resistant and herbicide-tolerant Vorceed Enlist corn (maize) in Canada. The company notes that its “next-generation” corn rootworm (Diabrotica spp)-resistant trait technology will be made available through its Pioneer and Brevant seed brands. The development follows the business deciding to undertake a limited launch of the GM corn in the US earlier this year.
