TRACKY TITAN SHINES AT SANDTOFT

A stand-out attraction among the motorbuses visiting the Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum for the Isle of Axholme Running Day on October 12 was Yorkshire Traction 726 (AHE 163), a 1946 Leyland Titan PDl with highbridge Roe bodywork. Not seen at a rally since the 1990s, it is resident at the Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society's museum in Lincoln and is owned by LVVS director Steve Milner. After 15 years' service with Yorkshire Traction, it became a club room with the British Racing Sports Car Club and has recently undergone further restoration work.
