Petroleum coke prices are rising in India as sellers raise offers on low supply and high fob costs, even as demand remains fairly tepid. The Argus cfr India 6.5pc sulphur coke price and the cfr west coast India 8.5pc sulphur coke price rose this week by $5/t and $2/t, respectively, to $132/t and $131/t. These prices are up by 29pc from their level on 14 June, when the Indian market hit its most recent bottom.
