IN OUR DAY, WE SAT unbelted on vinyl seats and played the license-plate game. We played Slug Bug. Or we sang "Row, Row, Row Yer Damn Boat." If we'd been good, we waited for the tubes to warm up in the AM radio and listened to the Grand Ole Opry and the Ozark Jubilee, and we liked it! Today, these kids have no idea.
