Side Blind Zone Assist System for Safe Egress of Driver and Passengers

The present invention provides video streaming of both left and right-side blind zones through video display mirror once parking brake is applied. Body control module (BCM) of vehicle receives parking brake signal and activates cameras mounted on left and right side outside rear view mirrors. At same time, body control module activates video display of inside video mirror. Driver passengers egress the vehicle safely by watching the video. After one-minute, BCM deactivates the camera video display. This concept can be easily implemented with minimum cost in existing vehicles which already has outside rear-view mirror with camera and inside mirror with video display function.
