Farmers recognise wildlife benefits of hedgerows but flag funding barriers to further planting, survey finds

Nearly 90 of farmers see the creation of wildlife corridors as the top benefit of having hedgerows, but almost 95 experience barriers to planting hedges, with the top two issues being a lack of time and money and the nature of government support, a survey has found.
