ExxonMobil swung to a fourth-quarter proft on the back of rising oil prices as demand continued to bounce back from the pandemic. The company reported proft of $8.87bn compared with a loss of $20.07bn in the year-earlier quarter, when it wrote down its North American natural gas shale assets. Revenue came in at $84.97bn, up from $46.54bn.
