A new species of grammitid fem, Calymmodon pectinatus (Polypodiaceae) is described from Malesia.A monographic study of Calymmodon C.Presl (Parris, in. prep) currently recognises 63 species, with 48 in Malesia, the centre of the genus (Parris, 2018). The treatment of the genus for the Flora Malesiana account of grammitid fems (Grammitidoideae: Polypodiaceae) (Parris, in prep.) necessitates the description of several new species: Calymmodon pectinatus, described here, is the most widespread of these, ranging from Sumatra to Papua New Guinea (Figure 1).
