The Biden administration on Wednesday released its quarterly targets for how quickly federal agencies anticipate getting key policies out the door, including long-awaited methane regulations and the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) closely-watched climate risk disclosure rule. Several of the rulemakings appear to be facing some delay. For example, the onal SEC rule is projected to be implemented in April, setting up questions over enforcement for companies tracking emissions for oscal year 2023.
