NO CORNER OF THE WORLD is immune from the sport/utility vehicle and crossover trend - a fact driven home by a pair of U.S.-bound introductions planned for Auto China 2008 in Beijing, April 20-28. One world premiere, the Mercedes-Benz GLK, won't be a surprise to anyone. Mercedes has given a thorough preview to everyone with GLK concepts at this year's Detroit and Geneva shows. Beijing is the setting for the production version's arrival. The five-seat SUV will reach European and U.S. dealerships late this year.
