Public transportation spaces of the near future, as envisioned by Ken Okuyama

Known for his car designs for Chevrolet, Porsche, Ferrari and others, Ken Okuyama has also handled many public transportation spaces, including the interiors of trams, high-speed train cars, and airplanes. He has been involved in such design from the time he was with Pininfarina in Italy. The E6 Series newly introduced this July by JR East Shinkansen and other new means of transportation proposed throughout the world reflect the essential needs of human society in the near future.
