August 2022 imports were 461,338 tons which is right on the license total published last month. September licenses are higher at 578,927 tons. After 11 of 21 days, the linear forecast for October is back down to 444,128 tons. This is the time of the year where all 7 sectors are looking at inventory and have based purchases on year-end expectations. Expect more up and down.
