摘要

THE DREAM scenario: You walk into the Porsche dealership and say, "I want to buy that 911 Turbo over there." The sales guy says, "That'll be USD126,200, plus tax." "No problem. Write it up. I'll be back in a couple of hours to pick it up." But we've all heard the stories of how it can go in reality: The customer walks into a car dealership to look at the latest Ford Focus and drives away with a loaded Expedition, and then he figures out that not only did he get talked into buying way more car than he needs, but he paid three grand more than the sticker price and bought a couple of extended warranties and a half dozen paint-protection packages.
