A new luge model for Team Japan Luge in the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games

Among the various winter sports that make use of equipment, the luge, where athlete and sled become one, has a particularly distinctive form. Team Japan Luge has developed new models with such organizations as the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the University of Tokyo, and a number of materials manufacturers.
