EXACT SOLUTION OF UNSTEADY TRANSVERSE MHD FLOW IN ROTATING FRAME BY HODOGRAPH TRANSFORMATION

摘要

The motion of two dimensional, unsteady, viscous, incompressible electrically conducting fluid flow in a rotating frame of reference under the presence of transverse magnetic field in porous medium has been considered.The time dependent equations are first transformed into steady state form then hodograph-Legendre transformation is applied to obtain exact solutions for the governing non-linear partial differential equations.Further, some examples of various forms of Legendre transform functions of the stream function have been considered as applications.Also, the corresponding geometry of the flow have been investigated by plotting graphs.
