The "Museum University Conception" being advanced in full scale from this year by Kyoto University of Art & Design is based on an idea to effectively utilize the facilities and human resources the school already possesses to disseminate diverse artwork, contribute to improving the local cultural level, and feed back the effect to its own educational process. They chose the keyword "museum" for the site so that many people would visit it casually and actively enjoy the opportunity of being exposed to art.
