Within Philips Design vision, design is a change agent to create and facilitate sustainable relationships among people and our environment. Design is the unique bridge among social trends, technology roadmaps and marketing forecasts, to create "the total brand experience," source of cultural relevance. Future sustainable brands will achieve competitive equity by triggering true emotional bonding through cultural relevance. Consumption cycles will gain extension in time thanks to higher shared symbolic value, with resulting lower environmental impact. Everything starts from human focus.
